Art Rocks- This begins my Colors of Children Series
It began with creating collage over a river rock, using form and color to talk about how we need to bring creativity back into the lives of children. Then came the oil bar, how I see children as blossoms, slowly opening, absorbing the light, nutrients and every experience they encounter to create their life experience. I see my role as an advocate for children, encouraging change in our education so that they are taught threw the visual and performing arts. ArtWalk April 26-27, 12-6 pm: “Colors of Africa” Patti Fox will be showing a fantastic display of paintings inspired by the landscape, animals and villages of Africa. Although these elements were enlightening, the true colors of Africa are its people and the folks that support the people.

‘Cactus and Wildflowers’ and ‘Gardens of New Mexico’ at Sumner & Dene

I am having a one-woman show in Albuquerque, NM at Sumner and Dene during the month of October 2007. The show is called Cactus and Wildflowers. The first opening will be on Friday, October 5th, and it will be up for the month.

I will also be in the Gardens of New Mexico show upstairs at Sumner and Dene and its official opening will be during ArtsCrawl October 19th.
