For fifteen years, I have mentored high-school-age students in the visual arts. I spent a significant portion of my time teaching them figure drawing in an after-school workshop. By exposing my students to community projects that expanded their artistic ability and involvement in the world around them, I discovered that it allowed them to grow as individuals
and as global citizens.
Foxtrot is a monthly creative summit, open to all high school students, that continues and expands on those ideas.
